All our product ranges arrive flat packed, except for the Pendle Parcel Stores, these will arrive part assembled. All products are supplied with all fixtures/fittings and with easy-to-follow instructions. We recommend two people for assembly, and this usually takes around two hours. An electric screwdriver or impact driver and spirit level are required, and the product must be erected and sited on a level surface area.
It is not required, as all our products come with comprehensive instructions and a technical support team only a phone call away. However, if you have a bad relationship with flat-pack products then employing someone might be a better option.
Yes, we’d recommend treating it once per year to maintain the 10-year anti-rot guarantee. We advocate using the Protek range of Paint which comes in a variety of colours. This hard-wearing water-resistant paint will protect the product from fungal decay, UV exposure and wear & tear.
All our products are manufactured from planed redwood pressure treated timber we use only the very best raw materials, we pride ourselves on building quality products built to last, with an annual treatment and good maintenance our products can last 10 years or more.
Our storage products come with fixtures and fittings for securing to the ground, should you feel the need.
We recommend purchasing a deck base only if you have not got a solid level surface to site a product on such as gravel, soil, sloping or uneven ground.
All our products are FSC certified, as the manufacturer we hold FSC Chain of Custody guaranteeing that we only source materials from renewable and sustainably managed forests. All our wheelie bin storage options are designed to fit the various sizes of UK wheelie bins 140L, 180L, 240L & 360L sizes. The most popular size of domestic wheelie bin store is the 240L size, both smaller bin sizes 140L and 180L will fit too. A dedicated product for the storage of 360L wheelie bins is also available on both the Chatburn & Shireburn Ranges. We are proud to offer our customers options, and both of our ironmongery ranges include benefits. They both have been coated offering a protective buffer against oxygen and moisture, making it more durable for our UK weather. However, we would recommend the silver over the black simply because the coating is galvanised which will ensure that longevity of the ironmongery.
All our products will be delivered flat packed on a pallet, the product will be shrink wrapped, with our branded logo clearly visible, and will come with a delivery label and dispatch note. Don’t be alarmed if you cannot find the fixtures and fittings pack these are located towards the bottom of the pallet within the product. The Pendle Parcel Store Small is the exception of the rule, this will arrive part-assembled in a cardboard box via a parcel courier.
Our pallet courier firm will deliver your order via a 7.5 Tonne lorry, this is roughly the size of a bin wagon. The pallet will be delivered as close to your property as possible, but we can only guarantee this as a Kerbside delivery. We recommend that two able-bodied people are on hand during delivery to unpack and move the goods to where you want to use it. Apart from the Pendle Parcel Store Small, which can be delivered where possible to your door via our parcel courier.
We offer delivery throughout the UK, the vast majority of which is included free of charge. There are however some exceptions, you can see which postcodes incur a delivery charge on our Delivery Information page or by inputting your postcode at the checkout when you have added a product to it.
All our products are manufactured on site and made to order, once received, this usually will take up to 10 – 14 working days to dispatch. Delivery lead times are provided in working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). During exceptionally busy periods or in remote outlying areas lead times maybe exceeded. Please check out our current Lead Times for up-to-date delivery times.
Our pallet courier ‘Palletways’ have an excellent book in service, delivery will take place 2-3 working days from dispatch. You will receive an email confirmation with clear product description, as well as a call from Palletways Customer Service team to arrange a convenient delivery date. Your email and SMS text confirmation includes 2-hour delivery window on the day of delivery as well as an email confirmation that the delivery has been completed.
Yes, you will need to sign for the goods on arrival. However, if you have a driveway that the courier can access with a pallet truck, it is possible to have this left without a signature. But you must ensure that our pallet courier is informed of this when delivery is arranged. Should the courier not be able to leave the goods safely, this will be returned to the depot and may incur redelivery charges. Please be aware the driver will not take the pallet through narrow gates, up steps or transport on uneven surfaces such as gravel, stones or turf. A hard, level surface such as tarmac or concrete is required for the pallet truck to manoeuvre.

Our customers come first, if you have a reason for a return, please email this to us at [email protected], within 14 days of receipt of goods. You must include your order number, full name, contact details, and a description for the reason of return and photo evidence if required. Please be aware that we can only offer refunds on unassembled items, or products that are not bespoke or modified in anyway.
Yes, occasionally customers can order the incorrect size wheelie bin store, we can offer an exchange however, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us and the delivery of a new item. Please be aware that we cannot offer exchanges on unassembled items, or products that are not bespoke or modified in anyway.
