Lead Times

Our current lead time is 7 – 10 working days on all our products.

We will always aim to get products out to our customers as soon as possible however please be aware that lead times will fluctuate throughout the year.

Delivery lead times are provided in working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays)

Estimated delivery lead times commence from point of receipt of order on a working day. In the case of orders placed after 12 noon the lead time will commence from the next working day. During exceptionally busy periods or in remote outlying areas lead times maybe exceeded. In such circumstances we will ensure that customers are kept informed.

Delivery Charges

Deliveries within Zone A are free of charge, however extra delivery charges are applied to the following postcodes as shown below;

  • ZONE A – Free of Charge 
  • ZONE B (£10) – BH, BN, BR, CA, CR, CT, DA, EN, EX, G, HA, IG, GU, KA, KT, LA, LD, LN4, LN7-13, LL, ME, ML, PA1-20, PE 22-25 PL, RG, RH, RM, SL, SM, SP, SY, TA, TN, TQ, TW, UB, WD, YO
  • ZONE C (£20) – DG, DT, EH, KA1-26, KA29-30, KY, LA11-23, LL35-78, NE19, NE48, NE61-71, SA, TD, TR
  • ZONE D (£30) – E, EC, N, NW, SE, SW, W, WC
  • ZONE E (POA) – AB, DD, HS, IV, FK, GY, JE, KW, PA20-49, PA60-80, PH, ZE Off including Shore Islands, Ireland & Scottish Isles

Offshore Islands, Ireland & Northern Scotland may take additional 7 – 10 working days for delivery in addition to the standard delivery times (these are listed on the product pages of the website www.thegardenvillage.co.uk.

We are able to specify an AM / PM Delivery, Saturday Delivery or Timed Delivery if required please contact the office on 01254 814343 alternatively email sales@thegardenvillage.co.uk at point of ordering. The additional delivery charges for these services are as follows;


Terms & Conditions of Delivery

The Garden Village use a national pallet network to deliver our products.

Customer must be made aware of the following;

  • Our products are all self-assembly items which will arrive flat packed, shrink wrapped on a non returnable wooden pallet. Instructions will be enclosed with fixtures and fittings in a pack and are located at the bottom of the packed product.
  • Orders cannot be cancelled without incurring costs once goods have been dispatched. Goods are typically dispatched 3 working days prior to delivery. Please call for more information.
  • There must be access for a 7.5T Lorry approx. 3.6m H / 2.3m Width / 7.9m Length (i.e. the size of a bin lorry or fire engine) to reach the property and unload.
  • We can only guarantee a curb-side delivery and the smallest vehicle available is a 7.5T wagon, if this is unable to access the property further delivery charges may be applied, you will be notified of this prior to the goods being dispatched.
  • The Garden Village or carrier will contact the customer by telephone prior to delivery to confirm details and agree a suitable delivery date.
  • Delivery times are made weekdays between 8AM and 6PM however this can vary dependent upon unforeseen circumstances. No exact time of day can be given.
  • All dates quoted for either delivery or contact are approximate The Garden Village will not accept any liability for any delay in delivery for any reason.
  • Customers must be available to check and sign for the delivery except when The Garden Village have received confirmation from the customer that the item can be left without a signature, please be aware that The Garden Village will not accept liability for any goods being lost or stolen when the customer has approved this.
  • Please ensure that goods are checked on arrival, please sign for goods as “damaged” if the item appears damaged or opened in any way. Damaged or missing items must be reported within 14 days of receipt of goods to sales@thegardenvillage.co.uk enclosing photographs of the damage.
  • If the event you are having the store installed independently it is advisable to wait until you have been notified of your delivery date.  We also recommend that on receipt of goods the customer is thoroughly satisfied that the order has been delivered in full prior to booking or commencing with the installation work.
  • Should an order be delayed for whatever reason the company will not issue compensation and any outstanding balances owed by the customer must still be paid in full. Where an estimated delivery lead-time extends beyond that published the customer may cancel their order without penalty.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to provide unobstructed access for the delivery to take place. Any failed or returned deliveries may result in additional charges being passed onto the customer.
  • Any discrepancies with deliveries must be notified to The Garden Village Ltd by email to sales@thegardenvillage.co.uk.
  • We are able to accept orders to be delivered to most parts of Europe, but unfortunately, you will not be able to place your order online. If you have any queries about deliveries outside of the UK please contact our Customer Service team by email sales@thegardenvillage.co.uk.
